Occupational Therapist Vacancies in Goa

Applications are invited by the Dean, Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa for filling up the OT post indicating candidates name and address in full, nationality, date of birth, educational qualification and experience, employment registration number and date, 15 years residence certificate in Goa and caste certificate issued by competent authority. The application should be accompanied with attested copies of relevant documents and strictly super-scribed the name and category of the post applied for, to reach in the Office of the Dean, Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa- 403202 on or before 10/05/2013. The application should clearly indicate the percentage of marks acquired by them in all public examination/courses.
Age: 18 year and above and exceeding 42 years for unreserved category and relaxable for Govt. servant and reserved vacancies in accordance with the instruction or order issued by the Govt.

Job Location: Goa Medical College and Hospital, Goa (Under Govt. of Goa)

Number of Vacancies: 08 (UR-03, OBC-01, ST- 01, PH-01, Ex-Service men- 01, CFF- 01)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+G.P. Rs.2800

Educational Qualifications:
Essential: 1) Intermediate/ Higher Secondary/ Senior Cambridge with Science subjects or equivalent. 2) Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university. 3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: 1) Experience in Occupational Therapy in a Hospital. 2) Knowledge of Marathi.

The candidates applying for the above post should affix their recent passport size photographs duly signed across it to the application.

  1. Taking into account the type of instruction and training OT students need, there are presently no occupational therapy schools that give exclusively online programs. You may find academic institutions for occupational therapy offering web based classes only as part of the whole program. That said, you'll also need to consider the location of the OT school you'll choose. Read This for more details.
