Occupational Therapy [OT] has been shrouded with elements of abstractness, confusion, mystery, power, unrealized potential, passion & novelty.
Thus at times we as a professional, feel empowered with the ability to transform somebody’s life and another moment we find ourselves shaky and doubtful about the very existence as a professional.
One moment we feel confident another moment we lack conviction. To overcome this state of shallowness in our understanding we tend to choose several methods but not necessarily the appropriate ones, the short cuts are sought after whereas the long ones are avoided.

The sense of OT is amazing and powerful, the thought and mindset of the therapist can make the whole approach very meaningful, potent, wide and transparent.
The presentation will not necessarily be a typical presentation, rather will be in the line of discussion and interaction. The author using his personal experience and practices will try to respond to the fundamental difficulties as posed young graduates or would be graduates.

Thanks & Regards,

Dr.Sushant Sarang.
Convenor,
Mumbai Branch Of All India
Occupational Therapist's Association.
