Job
Description: This Health and Safety (EHS) position with Godrej
Interio Division will be responsible for oversight and managing the ergonomic
programs / workshops across India also supporting multiple customers on a daily
basis as per requirement
Duties
will involve the following:

Participating in day to day operations of
ergonomic team.
- Interact with outside vendors to develop and implement ergonomic furniture and equipment standards and process from selection to deployment.
- Develop and implement an efficient system to manage ergonomic scheduling, evaluation, report generation, data extraction and equipment ordering.
- Using principles of ergonomics to evaluate risk factors provide sound recommendations to reduce risks in both office and industrial settings.
- Recommend and develop appropriate strategies to address company/ client ergonomic riscs.
- Investigate and resolve issues, questions, or concerns received from within the company, among outside customers, regulatory agencies, etc.
- Identify hazardous workplace conditions and work with subject matter experts to recommend controls and/or personal protective equipment.
- Assume responsibility for developing/maintaining/advancing specific EHS program areas and supporting EHS needs for assigned buildings/organizations.
- Support emergency response activities as required.
Required Skills:
- Developing and conducting creative Ergonomic and other EHS training / workshops / audits.
- Extensive knowledge and application of the principals of ergonomics.
- Ability to diagnose problems, accurately develop appropriate alternatives, and implement practical and effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Self starter who takes initiative to create practical ideas to reduce ergonomic injuries and incidents.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow-up on work flow to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communications, and have experience in giving presentations.

Required
Education (including Major): Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy,
human factors or ergonomics
