Call for Papers " Design 4 Health 2013 "

Design 4 Health 2013. July 3, 2013 – July 5, 2013

The 2nd European Design4Health conference seeks to explore the relationship between design, and health and wellbeing. This conference provides a forum and focus for researchers, policy makers and practitioners to discuss, disseminate and test their approach and methods. The conference features an exhibition of innovative health related artifacts and designs plus special sessions and workshops.

Those participating in the Call for Papers and Exhibition Proposals might include designers, practitioners and researchers in health and wellbeing, and representatives from the health and design industries and funding bodies.

We invite submissions in the form of an extended abstract or an exhibition proposal. Participants may submit more than one paper and/or exhibition proposal. Successful authors will be invited to present their work at the conference.

The conference will explore the role of evidence based design in healthcare, and issues surrounding interdisciplinary working. Papers are particularly invited to explore these key issues..Other topics for submission may include, although are not restricted to:
