A 3 days Continuing Occupational Therapy Education Program will be organised on 5-7 Sept.2011 on "Occupational Therapy In Hand Rehabilitation".
Main objective of the program is
to impart knowledge & skills to particularly those Occupational therapists
who are away from the knowledge of day to day development in OT in the field of
Hand Rehabilitation due to their busy clinical schedule.
Program will provide hands-on experience on applied biomechanics of hand, use of manual & Electronic standardized evaluative tools for hand functions, condition based splint designing & fabrication( Low temp. Thermoplastic).
Resource persons include renowned Occupational therapists(Prof. R.K.Sharma,SMCH,Ghaziabad, Mr. Jeetendra Mohapatra, NIOH Kolkata; Mrs. Rupali Sen, NIOH, Kolkata etc.), Hand surgeons of Apollo Hospital (Dr. Sughran Bannerjee) & specialist Physiatrists.
